The children enjoyed getting ready for Halloween. We created a handprint ghost and spider, spiderwebs with glue and glitter, making spells and potions in our home area and outside in our mud kitchen. The children helped to carve pumpkins and shared their experiences from home. We watched Room on the Broom and enjoyed singing Halloween themed songs and rhymes. We read stories linked to the topic including Room on The Broom, We're Going on a Ghost Hunt, Peppa's Halloween Party and There's a Witch in your Book. We had a Fancy Dress Day and all children and adults enjoyed dressing up!
