During the month of March our topic was transport. The children enjoyed talking, learning and sharing their own knowledge about different types of transport. The children created pictures, junk models and construction models using a range of resources both indoors and outdoors. We had a number of events this month in Nursery school. We make pancakes and enjoyed these for snack with delicious toppings and on World Book Day we all dressed up as a book character! We also celebrated St. Patrick's Day by wearing green to school, wheaten bread for snack and we enjoyed dancing to Irish music and songs. We continued to practise copying, continuing and began to create our own 2 colour patterns. The children enjoyed lots of lovely stories at home with the book packs sent home weekly for parents to share stories with their children.
