Bea and Eileen came to school to show the children how to make a St Brigid's cross and to talk about St Brigid's life. This is a very special year as it marks 1500 years since St Brigid's death. Bea and Eileen kindly made a St Brigid's cross for each child to take home and hang in their house for protection. Fr Barry came to school to bless the crosses. The children enjoyed the story about St Brigid.
