The children have enjoyed watching our caterpillars eat and eat and eat until they got very fat. They made a home called a cocoon and had a big sleep. Then when they were ready they woke up and had transformed into beautiful butterflies. We released our butterflies into the nursery garden. The children have enjoyed learning about the butterfly and have sang songs and created pictures of butterflies and caterpillars.
